The Client’s brief was to create a contemporary single storey extension to increase the living accommodation and provide an inspiring entertainment space.
Our concept creates a single storey extension which challenges the boundary between inside and outside space. Through the use of large bespoke glazing and rooflights, the space achieves a feeling of connection to the
outside, while maintaining shelter from the interchangeable North East climate.
Use of natural timber cladding enhances the building aesthetic and complements the fresh interior design. The internal reconfiguration provides an improved plan with flexible storage space and utility room.
