3D visualisation of a Two Storey Cottage Extension in Northumberland
This is an impressionistic 3D visualisation of a two storey extension to a traditional cottage in a Northumberland hamlet.
The extension will accommodate the footprint of a series of existing inappropriate offshoots to the rear of the property, which back directly onto a shared access drive.
The stone of the existing offshoots will be reused to form a ground floor ‘plinth’. This will accommodate a dual aspect open plan kitchen diner, boot room and plant room.
Above the plinth will sit a new master bedroom suite and family bathroom.
The first floor spaces are vaulted and the exterior will be entirely clad in black standing seam zinc, as reference to the dark agricultural barns which surround the site.
